Testimonies at Living Water Church

Daughters Of Naomi Embraced

On Sunday, July 17th we went to Living Water Church in Williamsport, Indiana to share testimonies from the Daughters of Naomi Embraced. Our dear friends, Pastor Dave & Sharon Wickens, Pastors opened their church and home to us. We are so blessed to have such wonderful mentors. They're like family, as the body of Christ should be.

Pastor Jennifer, McKinsey, Pastor Dave, Courtney & Sharon

These two women have been through tough times in life only to see the hand of God deliver them and give them hope. During the darkest times in their lives they cried out to the Lord who rescued them by bringing them out of their bondage and into new life in Him.

McKinsey's Testimony

Through our mentor program and ministry to women in need we have been able to touch many lives for the kingdom of God. Every time testimonies are shared God gets the glory and people get free!!

Courtney's Testimony

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

County Jail Ministry

TAKING THE GOSPEL TO THE INCARCERATED

Our ministry to women in need has been mentoring those who have been released from prison already. Now we are taking the next step of reaching them while their inside the institution.

Over the past two months we had a team of us go to teach an afternoon class. These Saturdays have been so rewarding as we see the hunger for the Word of God in these women. We have been blessed to have the privilege of ministering the gospel to those that need it most. All of us at one time or another were in a prison of our own. As I talked to the women, I told them you don't have to be behind bars to be in bondage. And that you can be free no matter where you are!
The time we have to get them engaged in sharing testimony and praise reports from the prayers we prayed with them is precious! One young lady shared that she had stolen everything including family heirlooms from her grandparents and was concerned that her grandfather, who had a bad heart condition would die in surgery before she could get out to make amends. We prayed with her for her grandfather and the praise report came back that he made it through surgery and she would be able to see him when she gets out!! Hallelujah!!!
Our team members open up and get real with these ladies. Christine, a minister from our church shared how God brought her through abuse, homelessness and turned her life around, blessed and delivered her and set her in a good place with her beautiful children that the Lord gave her.
Acts 10:34-35
34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
We are believing great things to happen in the lives of the women as the Lord continues to work on their hearts. Please pray that the teaching and ministry will be anointed and the redeeming power of God will penetrate every heart as they cry out to Him!!
